The Reason
The tools changed. The agency model did not.
AI changed how quickly designers can research, explore, prototype, and build systems.
But most agencies responded in one of two ways: they ignored the shift, or turned AI into another vague service line.
We created AILUME to take the change seriously - not as a replacement for designers, and not as a slogan. As a reason to reconsider how a focused product design team should be structured, how much it should be able to deliver, and where human judgment matters most.

AILUME comes from the people and product experience behind Halo Lab. Halo Lab remains a broad design and development company working across branding, websites, digital products, and engineering. AILUME has a narrower role: AI-augmented product design for scaling B2B teams.
